Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a mechanical engineer from Massachusetts (USA) who has loved cars all my life. I've owned lots of different "standard" cars (subaru/toyota/ford/mazda/scion etc) and decided to make the jump up to a Jag.

I picked up a 2004 X-Type 3.0 w/ 44K miles on it back in August of 2011 for a ridiculously low price, and I have loved owning it!

I'm joining the forum with the intention of learning more about my car and doing some minor upgrades to it (audio / suggestions for better handling / fuel economy / fixing some minor issues)

i'll get to the "minor issues" in another post, just wanted to say Hi!
