Hello Jag Lovers...looks like I am becoming one myself...maybe. I’ll post what my problem is in another forum, but I am glad to have found this site. I have a 1987 XJ12 VP that I may buy, but it seems to have a nasty habit to conk out...aside from that they are beautiful machines, and with moderate mechanical know-how, along with this site, maybe I’ll be able to zip around town in my “new” toy. Looking forward to learning and maybe through this experience, adding what I’ve learned to help others. Thanks to all who take the time to make this site work.

Thank you for the welcome Elinor! I am getting the numbers names and everything else pertaining to my particular motor, and I will be posting my dilemma in the appropriate forum. Can’t wait! Thanks again!

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. However, for the V12 you will find very knowledgeable members in XJS forum (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xjs-x27-32/) who can help with engine issues.
If you do buy it, please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your region.
