Hello everyone! I own 2 Jags; XJ8 and X-Type. I have loved these exquisite vehicles for over 20 years. I have made it my business to always have them around. Not the same ones that I have now, but different ones throughout the 20 years.

Whatever trouble they cause, their beauty overrides these issues. I do not like, however, the newer styled Jaguars in which the leaping cat is leaping from the boot and not the hood (not at all 3 dimensional I might add). Hopefully, the engineers recognize the historic beauty and return, somewhat, to the vehicle that once looked like no other vehicle. It did not blend. Everyone knew what it was from a mile away. Now, they resemble all the other new vehicles. Very sad.

Hello, Missy,
I agree with you assessment of current automotive form; they're all the same. One is hard put to tell a Porsche from a Toyota. That's one reason I drive a Jaguar that's older than I am! LOL

Yes ElinorB! I thought it was just me. I have loved these vehicles since I was a kid. There is a certain level of safety and comfort you feel when you slide into that seat, close the door, and the seat pulls you up to the steering wheel that lowers to your hands. I hear my car saying, "Where would you like to go?" (With an accent)

The accent on the SatNav in my XK doesn't sound unusual to me as an Englishman but she does sound as if she's making a proposition rather than giving directions.
