Beautiful.

That didn't take long since you first asked about XK8/XKR's in your original Intro:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...aguars-203165/

Enjoy it.

No it didnt! Now to start on all the improvements I have learned about here. Tons of good information from the members in this forum. I have the tensioner parts and a mechanic that will do the job. Certified Jag mechanic for about 30 years. So , any other improvement/reliability/upgrade ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Next to tensioners, plastic cooling system components are probably the biggest source of trouble. Changing the OE Thermostat Tower for an aftermarket aluminium type with a new thermostat is a regular. Sixteen year old rubber hoses could be on borrowed time.

Although not in the Jaguar Service Schedules, a transmission fluid and filter change at around 70K miles has been shown to extend the life of this 'sealed for life' component.

Thanks! I was told by the previous owner the transmission was rebuilt 3000 miles ago and I do have the receipt. Sounds like next comes cooling.
