New guy Here
Hello all, coming from a S500 Benz (wife kept asking to have it), and I am looking at 1997-2004 XJ8. I have found a 2004 XJR that needs the o2's and the knock sensor replaced (that sounds like a labor insensive job, but I would try and do it myself.
I found a 1997 that needs knock sensor replaced
I found a 2002 that needs the fuel pump replaced
I am not afraid doing the repairs myself.
I would love to hear feedback from some veteran group members!

Although it may sound strange, the KS replacement is a more straightworward job than a fuel pump. However, plenty of threads on both topics in our model forums.
Your year range covers two models of XJ8 - the steel bodied X308 (1997 - 2003) and the aluminium bodied X350 (2003 - 2009).
