Default New Guy in Sacramento

Hi, everyone!

Just wanted ot say Hi to everyone, and introduce myself. I'm picking up my '14 F-Type V8S on 5/7, and can't wait to meet more of the local Jaguar owners!

As a former Ferrari F355 Spider owner, I'm definitely excited about driving and having the Sacramento area Jaguars join along with the local drives that I put on, about every 3 weeks or so.

I imagine I'll be hanging out in the F-Type forum most, but will be browsing around to most of the other forums as well.

See you all soon!

Thank you both, Graham and Steve!

I've been lurking here (and especially in the F-Type forum) for a few weeks, but even more the last week or so, when the deal to let my last car go finally came through, enabling me to make the move into the F-Type that I'll be picking up next week.

I have to say, it's SO much nicer to be buying a car that the wife approves of, and is really looking forward to riding in. Her excitement to join me on drives, and - as she's no expert with a manual transmission - the fact that she'll eventually be driving it, were huge motivators for me. Can't wait to pick it up next Thursday, and to post photos!

Welcome! Perhaps you can post pictures of your Jag as soon as you get it? Have a good day!

I certainly plan to post photos when I get it home next week. I'm half-tempted to call my salesman and ask him for some! I've spent half my work day watching YouTube videos, just so I can listen to the exhaust note. I always giggle like a giddy schoolgirl when I hear it, it's just so theatrical!
