Default New to Jag forums, Hotrod Hotel

Hi.. I'm Dale the owner of Hotrod Hotel storage facility.
This site has already been very helpful to us!
I was looking for some help on the correct wiring for the dual fuel pump an 73' Xke V12.
We have rescued it from a defunct repair agency where it has been sitting for 2 years.
They had installed a small little pump and we wish to install the stock one however we don't understand the 2 power connections.
Do both sides of the pump run all the time?
Should we only connect 1 side???
Thanks for all you do here.

Thank you, Dale!
I think mine is sexy and I KNOW it's fast! In the year I've owned her I've been in search of top end more than once. Most recently, we (Nix and I) were still accelerating at 135mph when we ran out of road and encountered traffic.

She's non FI so there's no lag off the line; we're Always 2 or 3 car lengths ahead (sometimes farther than that) by the time the other driver even realizes the light is green.

I tend to keep things far past the time I shouldn't. I'll probably keep Nix until she disintegrates into such a pile of rust she can't be fixed.

Welcome to the forum Dale,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the E-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. I've replied to your other post there.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
