Default New Jag Owner

Good evening all from Abu Dhabi, UAE.

After having drooled at Jaguar cars for the past 40 years, I finally took the plunge and purchased a 2008 XK with 172k km on it. I took possession of it this afternoon. I love the looks of the car, and the way it promises to drive. First stop, a new set of tires and a 4 wheel alignment ... my mechanic now has the car ...

I still can't get the grin of my face.

I have done a lot of reading on this site, and look forward to sharing information.

Cheers,
Lee

Welcome to the forums Lee,

It sounds like you've already found the relevant model forum but if not, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk-xkr-x150-33/ to the XK/XKR forum for help, advice and information.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

One of the joys of living in the UAE is the large quantity of excellent cars driving the streets. Jags have a big following over here, although depreciate fairly quickly.

Does anyone have any experience regarding Jaguars in extreme heat?

I take mine down to southern Spain every year which is hot to me but probably only warm to you.

Some of our Australian members and those from Southwest USA report some impressive temperatures. Ask the question in X150 forum.
