New to Jags
Hi there,
I just got a 1995 XJ12 and I know nothing about Jags, this is my first Jag and even though I'm mechanically inclined, I have a feeling I will need as much help as possible understanding these fine machines.
Look forward to my stay here and thanks for having this forum available to us newbies!

You will indeed find Loads of help and assistance in here for all your Jaguar questions.
You're right about Jaguar being a little 'different' from other makes. However, all cars have the basic principles in common.

For most things other than the powertrain, you'll also find useful information in the X300 ( XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum ) tech forum. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
