Hi from Ojai, CA. I have a 1968 2+2 XKE that I am bringing back to life. I am the second owner, the first had it from new until she passed away in 2009. It is original and low mileage but badly maintained in the later years. I am currently considering swapping the auto tranny for a 5r-speed manual and changing the twin strombergs for triple SUs. Any advice on these mods would be welcome.
