New member.
H'i folks,
I'm a new member, and this my first post, so here's a bit of info about me, and my Jag.
I'm sixty five, a retired heating engineer / gas fitter, and live in a small town called Bedworth, in Warwickshire.
I have recently got back into Jag's after a break of about 15 years. All in all I have had five of them. Started off with a couple of MK2s followed by an original S type, (still my favorite) which I had to rebuilt the engine, and other parts of the car. My last one was a series 2, 4.2 XJ6. My current Jag now is a 2003 3Lt all wheel drive X TYPE, which I quite like, but don't know an awful lot about it at the moment, but hope to remedy that by joining this site and hopefully get some advice from some obviously up to date people.
Well, now that I've introduced myself and bored the cr#p out of everybody, I'll say good night, and look foward to reading your posts and hopfully add a few of my own.

Welcome to Jaguar Forums
Welcome Dave ... and greetings from fellow enthusiasts in Australia.
The X-Type is a great drive and you will find plenty of resources, advice and shared friendship here ... from the forum's main menu, jump over to the model specific X-Type section where there is plenty to read and absorb.
I also encourage you, as per Norri's posted links, to visit the regional section shared by other members in your area ... and add your car details to your signature as a permanent flag to enable other members to offer accurate advice ... from Main Menu, click <User CP> then <Edit Signature>.
All that remains is to dive into the forum ... and enjoy!
Best wishes,
Ken
