I have a 2003 S Type 3.0 6cylnder 5 speed stick shift. I have had it for 12 years with few problems. Now, it is showing its age. This site has been of some help so, I registered.

Default Rear sensors constant beeping

I appreciate the welcome posts, thank you. My problem:
2003 S Type Jaguar 3.0 6 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission. It has been an excellent car and well it's a Jag.
The back up sensors continually beep no matter what gear I am in. The battery died yesterday and when I checked it there was water in the trunk. I am assuming the seal is leaking and probably shorted out some part of the sensors, computer etc. I have had no luck finding suspect wires and have no idea which "box" regulates the sensors. The battery charged up perfectly.
I would like to try the usual dry and spray electrical component route but I have no access yet to a schematic. Can I at least turn off the speaker?
The threads have similar issues but with the X type Jags. The back up lights work fine.
I am new at this and appreciate any help and direction I can get. I am retired so I can be patient with my car but, I need to do what I can on my own "Shade Tree" maintenance approach. Again, thank you.
