Hello,
I am new to this forum. My wife fell in love with a 1999 XJ8 Vanden Plas on my friend's car lot. I have much history with British Motorcars, have owned at least one and often several since 1965. This is my first Jaguar. I worked on many six cylinder Jaguars and one V12. This V8 is new to me! I will attempt downloading a workshop manual. There will be much to learn! I am hoping Ford brought some of the more expensive conveniences such as climate control to simpler designs as I remember the 1980 XJ6 air duct control modules. Time will tell. I have always appreciated these forums and respect the knowledge owners and the wonderful technicians who share their knowledge. I now go and try to download the workshop manual. Questions will come later! Thank you in advance.
