Hello everyone. New member living in Alabama. I've been rebuilding and customizing cars for about 20 years. Muscle cars and hot rods mostly. I've just purchased a 2001 S-Type 3.0l. Thought I would try something different. This is my second jaguar and in much better shape than my last one which was a 1976 XJS. I'm glad to be here and can't wait to get a better understanding of these cars.

Welcome to the forum Nottrndy,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

I did. It had a Chevrolet engine and drivetrain. Took some time to make it all work together but in the end it was a fun car. It seems to be a lifelong habit.
