I am the current owner of a 1998 Jaguar XJR 8 and is having a few “minor” problems, I hope. The cruise control starts & stops, my drivers window won’t roll down. When replacing my windshield, the sun roof automatically opened & wouldn’t close so the tech took the control box (?) out. Have been looking for my “dream car, which was the Coupe. Found a 2010 XK- XKR Series, low mileage. On the car-fax, there is only 2 service history records, from the 2 previous owners. They said nothing about oil changes, scheduled maintenance. . Only that it was washed and detailed once & the other was brake/charging system checked, brakes checked and tire condition and tires checked. Is this normal or should I steer clear of this car. The nearest Jag Dealership is 4 hours away. Any advise that could be givenwould. B greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum Peach,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

A 2010 low mileage XK should have been serviced on a time basis every 12 Months - that's 7 services, all of which include an oil and filter change. On the history you've been given, it's a serious gamble.

I can see you've already found your way to the X150 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me
.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
