New Member with 2008 X-Type Estate
Hi Everyone,
just joined the forum as due to pick up my 2008 X-type 2.2 Diesel Sovereign Estate on Saturday. I had been looking at an XF, but they were all around £5k more than the X-Type for the same year. I was very impressed by the X-type when I went to the dealers and gave it a test drive and hope that I won't be disappointed in the months and years to come. I had my first 'ride' in a Jaguar when I was about 9 years old and now 50 years later own my own Jag!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi Graham, thanks for the welcome and useful links. I'm now counting down the hours until I pick it up. Have got to go to Birmgham to pick it up - (143 miles each way) - so will hopefully have an enjoyable ride back down the M40 and then hopefully a stress free last section on the M25 on a Saturday!
