Hi all, I've been viewing the thread for a while now and have gotten some good info from several of you. Like most of you I've loved Jags for a long time and got my first one a few years back.

I currently have an 02 x type with the Manual trans and 2.5L motor. Great car for a while but starting to drive me a little nuts here and there (such is life with a Jag...)

Anyway, wanted to say hi and thanks for the info!

Hello & welcome , my X is also 2.5 manual box . 2002 with 55.000 miles on the clock . Had a few niggles but nothing that cant be sorted....

Sounds like you already know your way to the X-Type tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
