Goodmorning. My name is Griffi. I am a jaguar enthusiast. My current project is a 1998 Jag XJ8 I swap the motor our of a 98 VDP that has bad transmission. The engine ran great but after the swap it revs to about 3000, sputters then dies. My only installation problem was finding the flywheel timing mark....finally found a triangle on the drive plate and a square hole with the top and bottom radius. All others were just square. I used that one.

Any ideas where to go from here?
