Hello everyone, or should I say 'Good day ole chaps? I'm 72 and have owned various cars in my lifetime ranging from a 1951 Pontiac hearse, a 1950 Mercedes 170S sedan to a 1970 Sunbeam Alpine (obviously the only brand new one). And I drove each one as my main source of transportation. But, I have always dreamed of owning a Jaguar. I have always had a fascination with anything British. Last month my dream came through! I now drive a !998 Jaguar XK8 convertible. Living in a small town in a rural area of Ohio, I don't encounter too many Jag owners. When I found this site I immediately joined. As they, "Birds of a feather..........).. I hope to enjoy many informative and enjoyable exchanges with you folks. My user name is OldCoot.
