Hello everyone, Steve here with a 1964 E Type located north of Seattle. Ive owned the car since 2006 but 2 years ago it was hit in a parking lot leading to allot of work and uncovering rust and previous repairs on the car. I love these works of art and it deserves to be put back in service properly and driven regularly. My fist question to the group is what’s your preferred tire manufacture for the 185/15 tire on a wire wheel, don’t need a 150 mph tire!!!
Thank you.
Hello, Steve,
I *HATE* parking lots for just that reason and avoid them wherever possible; people take the anonymity of a parking lot as license to Hit and Run.
I wish you success repairing your Jaaaag.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Thanks Jim, Nice looking XJ6 with a great color combo.. I’m sure it sets off the Loire Blue cat sitting next to it!! I’ll post more pix as I progress on the Etype. Cheers,
Yep I’m going to bring my own orange cones from here on out! Sadly I knew the guy that hit the car, 84 yrs old blind in one eye driving a lifted Dodge Ram 2500! Thank god for Hagerty!!
No Grant I would say that you haven’t missed a thing based on your Icon alone!!! Old jags really never get old they get better like fine wines, its us that are getting old!
I will post new pix as I get them if any one is interested.. Have a great summer down under, cheers.
