currently own 70 e/type 66 mk11 82 xjs 94 xj6 01xj8 my days are full
BTW I have owned, (not all at once), a Mark 2, then an '80 XJ6 4.2, then the interregnum with Mazda Xedos, Rover 75 2.5 V6 (a lovely car, superb in every way), then back to Jaguar with a 2003 XJ6. This latest Jaguar I have is a superb car, but as we all know, can have a number of issues, which so far I have dealt with OK.
In the 70s when I was on motorcycles, my friend was on E-types, having three, one after the other, (also he had a Ferrari Dino Spyder too). Pile-of-sh*t-on-seat time was once on A30 on Bodmin Moor, when he maxed it for about 3 miles - awesome. Today we'd be clapped in irons. Hell, you're only young once.
