Hello! Recently acquired an XJ8 that has stayed in the family. 1998 Green XJ8 4.0 with less than 57k original miles.
I have noted all the consistently mentioned major issues for this car found on youtube....and yes, I am a bit terrified $$$$$.
I am hopeful the forum can help ease some of the anxiety. She really is a beautiful car and drives quite nicely.

Let me tell you what a new member told me just the other day. Most of what you read on here are going to be people's issues regarding their Jags. Let's face it, for every 1 praise, there are probably 100 gripes on this forum. Issues are probably the #1 reason people join forums to begin with.
