Hello there,

I'm a new forum member, and a first time Jaguar owner. I've always liked Jags, so when the opportunity arose to buy a 1984 XJ6 Series 3 Vanden Plas I couldn't resist.

Despite it's age, it's in great condition and will serve as a decent entry level vehicle while I familiarise myself with this great marque.

I look forward to learning more from you folk on this forum too.

Cheers.

Thanks for the welcome folks, looking forward to acquainting myself around here, and with Jaguar ownership. Will add details to my signature this weekend, although the Cat has already bitten me with the water pump expiring in my first week of driving the car.

Cheers.

Ouch!

I hope it was accompanied by nothing too dramatic when it died.
