Hello all.
I have recently puchased my first Jaguar, a non-running 1985 XK12 Vanden Plas.
So I have spent a lot of time educating myself about the car, reading a lot of helpful posts on this forum. Figured I would sign up and help out when I can but I do have some questions to ask.
I did manage to get the Car running (new computer and timing adjustment) and it has been a pleasure to cruse around in but alas it has died again.

Welcome.
Well done on that repair, even if it lasted short time, its a V12, and lots of things may be hissy.
Take a peek at the stickie at the top of the XJS section that I wrote a while back regarding Non running V12's, maybe something in there will help you out.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
