Hey everyone, my name is Art. I currently reside in San Jose, California. I'm not a Jag owner yet, but I'm in the process of finding a 2016 XJL.

I'm extremely excited as this has been my dream car since I first saw it as a broke college student about 9 years ago and now I'm at a point where I can afford it.

I'm in negotiations with a dealership outside my area for a 2016 white xlj with roughly 24K miles. It's CPO and has only been in a minor accident (I assume since it's been certified). The CPO warranty will be good for another 3 years. If I can get a price that I'm looking for I'll hopefully have it in my garage by next weekend.

I would love to hear your tips about anything specific I should be on the lookout for when buying a used XJL and what I can expect as far as maintenance costs. I heard older models before 16' had issues with the sunroof and I also heard things about water pumps.

I'm looking forward to connecting with people here and learning more about this beautiful machine!

I got a call from the dealer yesterday saying they're going to give me the price I want. Waiting for this weekend to finalize things and I'll hopefully fly out sometime next week to pick it up. Super excited. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get it.
