Hello All,
My name is Erik and I live and play in sunny San Jose, CA, USA. I own a phoenix red 2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0 sport (automatic). I also own a 2005 Mercedes C-class (manual). Recent overheating had me thinking about getting rid of the jag but I love the way it drives and I think I want to keep it, plus its red. Now that I found this forum I feel like I might be able to get enough information to solve my trouble as the issues seem common.
The site is awesome, everyone seems very friendly and helpful, and I am looking forward to contributing often, though mostly with questions. My apologies for not posting my intro first, however I had a question and jumped the gun. I will post a picture of my cars in the thread tomorrow when it is daylight.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
