Hi all!

I grew up in Pa., lived in Maine for a number of years, and now live in Central Pa.

I have decided to "take the plunge" and purchase a one-owner 1995 XJ-6 that has some minor cosmetic issues but has a dry, clean engine and tranny. The undercarriage has only minor surface rust (I have seen cars half its age looking WAY worse.) She has 154000 on the odometer but there are piles of documentation about her life. I look forward to learning and asking lots on this forum!

My beginning with British cars was with a 1965 MGB. Ahhh the joys of side-draft carbs and positive ground electrical systems.

It has been many years since driving and caring for a British car. I hope I don't remove my remaining hair over this decision.

Welcome to the forum Bucky83,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link to the X300 tech section so there's no need for a link from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Looks good.

Signature changes always show with the next post and not instantaneously. This throws a lot of members at first.
