New Member and glad to be here
Just Joined. I have an 87 XJ6 and we want to change out plastic bumpers/covers and use/modify older Jag chrome bumpers to get more of the classic look.
My question is are Series 1 or early Series II bumper cross sections the same as the 60's 420's I see some parts pieces on ebay but am not sure I can piece together.
Looking forward to completing project before spring.
Any help/insight is appreciated

Welcome to the forum dtholo,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
As I recall, my 420G had 'proper' bumpers but my Series I and II were flimsy and more for decoration than effectiveness.
