Default new member intro

Hello all!

I have already benefited greatly from the forum and the high quality of people in it but I see that an introduction is requested so here goes.

I purchased my 1997 XK8 convertible as a retirement project a few months ago. I felt I needed something to keep me busy and the car has not disappointed; I have as many projects as I want and more waiting.

In the earlier years I restored a 1958 Porsche 356a and am beginning to appreciate how simple and straightforward it truly was. My new project is light-years ahead and exponentially more complicated.

I look forward to walking through this project with all of you!

sincerely,
bradstuff

Hi Bradstuff,

Thankyou for the intro.. it is great to have you onboard here, and it looks like you bring a wealth of knowledge with you - unlike myself where I am learning as I go :-)

A Jaguar will definitely keep you as busy as you want to be kept during retirement.

Welcome from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Brad,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

No need for a link to the XK8/XKR tech forum as you' already know your way around here.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
