Default new member intro

I have read a lot on the forum since my grandson inherited a 1995 Jaguar XJ12. I am impressed by the information available here. After working on the v12 for several days and spending more money than I thought appropriate, I have decided to swap a LT1 into the car (I saw the potential for a lot of money being spent on a very good car with a problematic engine). I know Chevys, having rebuilt several over the years. Jaguar seems to be very proud of their parts as well. Looking forward to conversion advice; trying my best to save all the bells and whistles; my hat is off to those who maintain older Jags in their original condition.

Hello, Rattler,
Many of us drive Chevy powered Jaguars, because as you say, "We know Chevys."
