Default New Member Intro

Greetings from downunder in Australia. I'm a 66 year old male, living in Melbourne and have owned my 2008 XF 2.7 litre diesel from new. I'm absolutely in love with it and now that it's 13 years old and in immaculate condition, I thought it time to take advantage of new technology to undertake a series of upgrades such as LED headlights, LED running lights and an upgrade to the infotainment system with Aplle Car play etc to further ehance my driving experience with the XF. The car goes in next week for those upgrades.

I recently had the car fully detailed including ceraic ating of the paintwork as well a protective coatings for all the interior surfaces. The company has done a great job

Googling Jaguar has brought me to this forum a number of times and so I thought why not sign up and become a member. This fourm has been of great assistance in providing me with insights to the upgrade, especially as I'm not a technical type simple wanting to enjoy driving across the country in a comfortable, high quality touring car.

At 66,000 km's the car hasn't done a lot of work as I only use it for country touring which I plan to do more of going forward.

Fully detailed with a ceramic coating

Euro-style number plates to reflect acquired August 2008

Welcome to the Forums.

Looks damn good.

The things we "do" when in lockdown, beats boredom though.

Thanks ElinorG,

I'm flattered. My XF is fortunate in that when at rest it is protected with a Jaguar XF car cover and sits in a basement carpark. With the harsh Australian sunlight and heat in summer its quite challenging to keep your car looking good without a garage/carport!!!
