New Member - Intro a MUST!
Hi All
Joined up yesterday after being proud Jaguar owner for 1 month.
2001 X-Type 3.0L Pacific Blue with Sand interior.
150,000kms and in excellent condition.
Canberra car previously owned by dentist with fastidious cleanliness!
I've always been a Jag enthusiast since my first ride in one when I was 4 y.o.
My mum was a cleaner for a well off family in Esher UK and on cleaning days the Lady of the Manor would pick us up in a brand new MkII, 1965 I'm guessing.
So since then bought the books, the model kits, went to the car shows here in Canberra etc etc. Then finally decided to upgrade my ride from the bone-jarring MX5 and found my first cat!!
All good things happen to those that wait.
Browsed the Forum picking up all sorts of useful info so decided to join the community.
Will post a question soon re. why my rear doors wont lock/unlock properlt, but I'll read up first.
Until then G'day from Canberra Australia

Welcome to the forum YellowAndBlue71,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the Australia - New South Wales/ACT Region forum by following this link Australia - New South Wales / ACT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
