Good morning all, my name is Sam, I'm 27 from Birmingham. I have just bought an 04 jaguar xj8 3.5. I love the car to bits, she's simply a stunner. Love the power too. A bit about myself. I'm a maintenance engineer but not in the automotive industry. Although I have a good understanding of it. I also own a 56 Austin a30 which is currently undergoing restoration. Have other hobbies too fishing, camping, socialising. I thought I'd join here to gain knowledge on my car. I have been reading the manual but some things are a bit vague.

The a30 is a small project I'm undergoing when my o/h chooses to watch whatever crap is on the tele. Bought the x350 as my primary car for every day use. I have a full main dealer service history on it which I will keep up.

Follow Norri's link in post #6 to the X350 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks all for th advice. I'm currently trying to use this website on my phone. (Whilst on work avoidance) lol. I think it will be easier to have a proper look tonight from my pc though. Thanks for making me feel welcome too.
