Can any one help, bought a map for my x type of ebay and it appears its a copy, tried to load it and everythings gone off heater is through the roof and the screens blank, please if someone can help tried disconecting the battery to no avail.

Many thanks for the welcome fellas, if anyone can help me out with the sat nav reprograming file, would be so gratefull tried using all the other methods but to no avail, here's hoping!

1. follow the link in Cambo's post #3 above to the https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...072_1-a-51699/ thread.

2. see vdubelu's post #14 in that thread - it has a zip attached - LOADING.KWI.zip. Download this zip

3. follow the instructions in vdubelu's post to burn the LOADING.KWI file to a DVD-R and then installing it in your SatNav to reset the firmware.

Well i have tried the kiwi disc file in the sat nav and to no avail, it still reads 50.51 there is no responce at all just keeps flashing, i have also tried pressing phone and menu and nothing comes up, can anyone recomend someone that could look at it for me in Lancashire, its stressing me out phoned jaguar dealer and, well you can guess his diagnosis.

 

Many thanks Graham, so far tried everything to no avail, just a quick question if it is the sat nav and i got one is it just a matter of disconecting and swapping over also how do i get the correct one are all x types the same, jaguar are quoting £2000 i just cant warrant that amount of money? I love my jag but 4 kids with two at uni its just not viable.
