Hi folks,
so its time i finally get to do this, i`ve been here for a while but never got around to writing. I`ve received already great help and advice in the short time i`ve been here, so i can only say how glad i am to be part of this forum, and a big thanks to all of you who regularly take the time to help out us novices.

Me .. i grew up in a 1965-6 Jaguar 420 which my Dad bought just before i was born ,it was even rare back then(in wales at least), today it sits in a garage waiting to be showered in love and money (restored I mean..one day...i`m saving!!) yeah many fond memories in a Jag

today i live in switzerland and am the proud owner of a 2000 XKR coüpe, `Kitty`, a true beauty in my eyes, can`t imagine ever wanting to part with her, she looks as good as the day we met ,and the more time we spend together the more i love her!! What else can a man ask for?

again THANKS for having me, looking forward to more!
Nigel

Hello, Nigel,
I'm going out on a limb here and say most of us are in love with our Kitties-- except maybe when they're being stubborn.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Nigel,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Short time - it's been 10 months!

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Sounds like you've been spending more time driving than fixing. Always a good situation.
