Hello everybody,
I have a 2003 jaguar x-type 2.5 that has the codes p0430 and p1000 and It has 104,000 miles. What would be the most likely reason, all 4 O2 sensors and/or the catalytic converter? The gas mileage is not impressive and the temperature hand is almost at the middle (not past the half way mark) mark on the temperature gauge. Those were some things that I noticed.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum jaelub,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
P1000 just indicates OnBoard Monitoring Tests have not been completed since the last memory clear. It's a status and not an error and will be replaced with P1111 when the tests are completed. P0430 is Catalytic converter system efficiency below threshold on Bank 2. This is more likely to be a Bank 2 Sensor than a Cat.
