Default New Member with a Jag on the market

Greetings All. New to the forum and specifically joining because a family member has asked me to help sell a Jaguar for them. This particular vehicle has been in our family since it was new and I'm hoping the forum can help me determine the value of it. The condition is pristine and the maintenance has been very well done. I will have pics and details on the year and model that I will post asap.

I've been buying/selling cars, private party, for a while and know the routine but I don't keep tabs on Jags and their value and want to make sure we'll be selling at a fair price.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

The image won't load. Could have exceeded size limits or be an issue with an OnLine storage link:

A 1987 XJ6 could be either a Series III or an XJ40 as both were available in that model year and both were badged XJ6:

Series III

XJ40

Follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ6 Series I, II & III forum or this one XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 forum K8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

That's a Series III. Looks a good one.

The guys in XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum will know current US values.
