i have been a jag owner since 2002 and now have 4 series 3 xj saloons two mark 2 v8,s two triumphs and a ;72 mini. unfortunately 3 of the above were inherited which i do not recommend. for my sins i run a garage working on modern italian stuff which as an auto electrician is quite challenging. my love has always been old british stuff and the jags do drive the best all round.I found this site looking for info on v8 tuning and found it more friendly and useful than any of the club ones i used to belong to so thanks to you all.i think the mark 2 will be my retirement job as is bare shell that has already been in barn 7years but you never know.

 

welcome to the forum and the Jag family - quite the assortment there! You will find plenty of info and support here to help with whatever may ail the cat! From how to's to tsb's, videos, etc., by far the best tool in an owners tool box. enjoy

 

thanks for that, i have already found more info on daimler v8 today than i ever got on club sites over several years. hope i can answer some of the series 2 and 3 xj problems as rebuilt a few, stripped loads and run a few for more than ten years so far without needing the AA. . . . . yet

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
