Hi everybody.


New Jag owner from Norway checking in.
I bought a 1972 series 1 XJ6 in November last year. Been tinkering a bit over the Winter and getting ready to put it back on the road now. The car has a Chevy small block & Th700R4 conversion.

Hi Tor, I love the lines of the XJ6. Your picture angle is superb to show this off,can you post some more pics? I would love to add it to my screen saver.(30,000 pics of cars and bikes I've taken,scanned,stolen,copied and downloaded over the last 30 odd years).
I drink beer and watch my slideshow for hours(lol),always surprises me what I forgot I have pictures of.
Is your XJ matt black? Love it.

Hi Clarke

I'll update the thread with a few new photos once I get it out of storage and on the road.
The car is actually vinyl wrapped with 3M carbon film. From 10 yds it looks black matte, but once you close in you see the carbon fibre.

 

Uauuu...it likes Batman's car !!!
