New Member Old Jag Lover
Ive waited 50 yrs to finally buy another Jag. My brother & I bought a '58' Mark II in 1966. Unfortunately it was in pretty rough shape. The previous owner had race it & told us when we bought it for $500.00 not to put too much money into it. Well we had a ball with it right till it lost it's rear end at a traffic light. We were trying to race a 1965 Boss Mustang. Yeah I know, but we were young & dumb.
Anyways were both had a date with Uncle Sam so had to sell the Jag for parts. After the service I got married, went to college, had kids; well you get the picture. Finally on Sep 19th my 70th birthday I bought an '07 S Type 3.0 in proper British/Jaguar Racing Green. Tan interior & only 52,535 miles on it. A real cream puff.
Here's a a picture taken in 1966 w/my brothers and another picture 50 yrs later with my son.
