New member, older XJS
Hello,
I've got a '95 BRG XJS convertible that I purchased in 1999 with less than 10k miles on it at the time. Put about 10k miles on it the first year, then moved, and didn't really need the extra car anymore.
But I couldn't part with it.
Replaced the orig tires at about 22k miles with OEM Pirelli 4000Es. Now have about 32k miles on the car...just don't drive it that much. But now I need it to be back in full service mode again, as my kids are of the age that they are commandeering our other cars. Our cat needs a thorough going through, new tires, A/C isn't working correctly. Suspension issues. Certainly belts and hoses, etc. It does run like a top, however. The car is a 9 out of 10, with some issues because of lack of use.
Living in Charlotte, and have had the top down in Jan/Feb many years. A Classic beast that folks are always asking if I want to sell.
Looking for a good mechanic in Charlotte area to help get this back on the road.
Please forward any reputable shops you may know of.
Thanks,
Chris
