2016 F Type R AWD
I read up on the model, found only a few for sale locally, not quite “love at first sight”, but it was close.
When I bought “the car”, I liked that the rear was already debadged, but now I’m considering adding the rear badging back on - still on the fence.
I don’t know if “the car” is “feminine”, but I am also considering “spoiling her” with a rear “spoiler”, either factory or CF aftermarket to match the CF package (I really love the look of the SVR rear spoiler).
Not sure why the front/side vents are CF, but the hood vents are just black plastic. Might need to “fix” that.
I have to confess, I was giddy when I experimented with the Jag “Remote” app and I was surprised to find “the car” has remote start/climate control (we get snow/cold but “the car” is tucked away for probably the rest of winter).
I’ve seen other posts here about tire recommendations - right now “they are what they are”.
Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
Almost all Jaguars are 'girls,' yours probably is too. As such, if you treat it right, with respect and care, it will repay all that attention in the form of reliability, a Whole lot of fun and positive comments from on-lookers.
You take care of her, she will take care of you but it has to start with You. (I can tell you how I know that)

Thanks for the insight, that's exactly what I thought (I should refer to the car as she or her)! A few other things I have learned in the short time I've had her is (being an R), she is very powerful, and demands respect - and for me to pay attention to her
She also usually follows the rules of the road, but on occasion, if somebody gets to close to her (while on the road) - to gawk or tailgate - "she'll" drop the hammer and put some serious Distance away from them in a really, really short amount of time (also thanks to her being an R)...
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
