Hi first time Jag owner I bought it as my daughters first car. I only got a grand invested into it so far but I need to locate and learn about parts and maintenance that are specific to these cars. Its a 2000 S-type 3.0.

Welcome.

Post your queries in the S Type section.

One issue per thread gets better results than all in one.

Thanks I just got the title in hand the other day so I'm just really getting at working on it. First things first getting it inspection ready so I can get it registered. Texas requires proof of inspection to get a registration sticker now. But I worked a few of those pesky Gremlins out so far this AM. But thanks again. I have been doing searches over there it seems like unfortunately a lot of the postings are a few years old (well the car is 15 years old and not all that collectable honestly lol) but I'm going to try and get my parts list together and fix all the little stuff I can and search the Forums best I can before I bother anyone with questions that have been asked plenty of times before lol.

Welcome to the forum steelcowboy,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-southwest-az-tx-nm-ok-37/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Yeah well thanks but not sure I'll be sticking around letting my Xanax work into my system but if I get any more snobbish yuppie comments I'll see myself to the door. I don't got time for this BS not my first trip to the rodeo or the State fair. I've built 2000 HP twin turbo tube frame Mustangs and motorcycles from boxes of left over parts. If snotty comments are what are to be expected I'll go it alone.
