New Member Tracy 1999 XK8 Convertible

Hi Everyone,
I am Tracy (male), a new member and I just purchase a 1999 XK8 Convertible (54, 401 original miles...bought from original owner, garage kept).
I am retired US Air Force, married 25 years to my wonderful wife Lisa, and we live in Destin Florida...convertible will be great now that the weather is beginning to finally cool off a bit.
The Jaguar has been sitting in the garage for the last 7 years so I have already drained the gas tank (that was not easy with shoving the3/8 inch rubber hose down the gas tank outlet), new inline gas filter, new coil packs (2, 5 were bad) and new tires.
I have been reading online and notice that it is recommended that I change out the ZF5HP24 Pressure Valve. Any suggestions/advice are certainly welcomed. I am mechanically inclined and have restored five vintage mustangs (2x65, 1-67, 1-69, 1-70).
I will post some pictures of our new family members once I have completed a detailed cleaning scheduled for this weekend.
I am excited to read any comments advise anyone my share and look forward to sharing new dialog with each of you.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
