Hello everyone. I just bought my first Jag and don't have it at home yet but will on Monday.
I bought a 2005 XKR that is supposedly green but it sure looks black to me. I guess in some lights you can see the greenish tint.
I've loved Jags since the E-Type and always wished I had one. I finally got a really big bonus from work and was able to get one.
I looked at a 1999 XK8 that was very pretty and a 2006 XK8 that was very, very nice but neither one of them had the ZING of the XKR.
There are a few questions I have already. The top goes down fine but if you try to put it back up it won't go until you turn off the engine then turn it back on. Has anyone else seen that? It seems odd to me as an engineer but there's probably some reason.
So I'm glad to be here and gladder still to finally have my Jag.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
