Hello everyone!
I have just joined this wonderful website, although I have been visiting a lot before.
My name is Dmitry. I am an entrepreneur, a startupper and a designer. I absolutely love cars! Always have, since I was a kid. My dream is to assemble a huge collection of all types of cars! From classic Ferraris to modern Corvettes! Hyper-super cars, classics, muscle cars you name it! I love them all.
I have always loved Jaguars, especially older ones. And not too long ago I became a proud owner of 1998 XJ8. I adore it! It is such a gorgeous, elegant car! People break their necks everywhere I go. Get tons of compliments, even from supercar owners! It is a true Jag!
Being an older car, It obviously has some issues, which I am addressing. I have already done a lot of things, both repairs and modifications. Hoping to bring it to museum condition!
It is my summer home car. Basically it is daily driven for about 2 months a year. The rest of the year it is tucked in the garage. I miss it so much!
I will be posting more about it. About all the repairs, modifications and the overall experience. Maybe will even post some tutorials, although I am not that experienced with this car just yet.
I am very excited to become a member of this community!

Love the mesh and chrome surround combo! Pretty rare I guess. Latest version. Red wheel center caps and dark red growler. Also have a matching keychain) Got the wooden shifter and the steering wheel from the X300. XJR Grille

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
