Living in southern California for 36 years.
Been driving Jag sedans since 1984 when I had a Series3. Founding member of "Jaglovers" news group, about 1990(?). No longer go there. Loved that S3 but finally so many things required fixing that I gave it up in 2004. Had around 160K miles. Then got the 2002 XJ8 when it came off of lease (2004) with 23K miles. Now 70K miles, yes only 70K miles because it is 2nd car. (FWIW. a year ago I got a 1951 MG TD).
I have visited these forums often over the years. More often since my long time Brit car mechanics Walter and Haig, of Britalia Motors, retired three years ago. Sure do miss them. Anyway, the XJ8 has a few problems which is expected of a car 17 years old. I'd sell it if I could get $5K for it, but no one wants an old Jag sedan.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum with the window issue so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
