Hi all,

Just bought the wife a 1985 built, 1986 registered here in New Zealand XJS V12-5.3L. 50th birthday present!

We live in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand having emigrated here from the UK in 2011.

Just removed the IACV for a rebuild as she runs at 1400 when warmed up. She has a couple of small pinholes on the drivers floorpan thanks to a water leak from somewhere in the past, can't find anything obvious, will see what transpires with that one.

So she joins a 1951 Bentley Mark VI and a 1987 Bentley Mulsanne, a 1972 Opel GT, 1939 Studebaker Commander under going restoration and a 1986 Opel Manta coupe rally car and 1985 Opel Manta hatch.

Welcome to the forum strallying,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow Norri's link in post #5 to the XJS forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.
