Hello my Name is Martin / Snookfever (Fishing Nickname). Live in Loxahatchee, Florida. Hello Everybody! The 97 XJ6L with 135k now 145k was kinda pushed on me by a client who would sell it to me and only me for measly $1200 dollars. i love cars and could not resist such a car in the garage ket shape it was in. Have done alot of restoration and still have some mystery issues. Hence, I decided to join some like minded folks such as yourselves.

Cheers,

Snookfever

Default Love Love This Car!!!

I have already replaced the entire front suspension. 10 bushing total, Coil Springs, Shocks, Upper / Lower Ball joints, Stub Axle, Bearing, Rotors. The whole entire front end. Along with all kinds of long overdue maintenance. Car runs like the cheetah she is!!! I have gleened alot of info from this site and thought it was time to join.

One of the reasons I got my car, was the whole front end was in Critical need of complete rebuild; all bushings, motor mounts, calipers and hoses, 4 ball joints, replaced leaking rack, inner and outer tie rods, both spindles and all bearings.

It's quite wonderful to have all that done, isn't it; and to finally Know how a Jaguar should handle.

Congratulations on your successful repairs too.

Welcome to the forum Martin,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link US Lower Atlantic - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
