Default New and need assistance

Hello all, I live in Oklahoma City, OK. And I am the proud owner of a 2011 XJ8 that I purchased in 2013 with only 17,702 miles on the odometer. 50k miles later still love the car but I broke my car. I got spoiled driving a car that didnt disappoint and could handle my demands for performance. I forgot the rule not to add water to an overheated car unless it's running. This was July 10th. Had the dealership not referred me to the service advisor they had fired for stealing and banned from the property, I would have had it fixed 9 months ago. Frikn JERKS. The engine was seized and I was told by 2nd shop to scrap it. I didnt trust that verdict and with my partial socket set I started the tear down process. GOOD NEWS...ENGINE UNSEIZED.
Cause of failure corroded support securing thermostat, followed by crossover pipe rupture, followed by the high pressure fuel line rupturing are the bend directly above the high pressure pump. NEED HELP WITH THIS FUEL LINE INSTALL. It has to come down from the top in the exact spot or the fittings dont line up with the HP pump. Does anyone know the proper procedure to install this line? Will send pics after bonnet closes.

Based on your description, the engine has been severely overheated meaning the cylinder block and heads have more than likely warped causing the headgasket(s) to fail. The AJ133/126 cannot withstand being overheated even for a short period of time. Repairing an overheated AJ engine has not been done successfully to the best of knowledge.

When the engine has been overheated, the low pressure fuel line at the back of the engine often melts.

If you want to keep the vehicle, find a used engine from a reputable supplier.

Welcome to the forums Benji626,

I'm sorry to say I have to agree with NBCat. A serious overheat is very likely to have warped the heads.
